The Dark Hunter Rises is a metal tribute to Nintendo's Metroid series featuring visceral, dark, and atmospheric arrangements and revitalizing the 2017 release "The Dark Hunter" with new recordings, production, and tracks. Inspired by modern progressive metal, grunge rock, and the classic science fiction film scores, each track serves to depict intense boss fights, unsettling caverns, and the ambience that Samus Aran intrudes upon each adventure.

Ro Panuganti is a progressive metal guitarist and producer, best known for eclectic metal, progressive rock and fusion arrangements of video game music and original works.
